why, hello there, friends!
right now, my butt is freezing in the extremely cold weather of california (the part near san francisco, at least), as it has been for the past week.
just so you know, i was in new orleans and it was just as cold. i went to the french quarter, passed by bourbon street (although my parents and my aunt and uncle partied there one time), bought a lot of things... it was fun.
i'm still being frozen at the moment. slowly, but surely.
pictues will come soon!
yours in freezing,
inna
ps: i got a shirt from wal-mart that's made of recycled coke bottles. :P
yeah.
i may not be able to go and sneak around QZ for awhile... i'm going on a 3 week vacation to the United States. yeah.
see you guys around soon! :o)
i graduated from high school today.
bow.
stuff from dorothy perkins is so expensive.
that's all.
ps: i'm trying to discover new indie bands.
i'm craving beef tapa.
you guys can research about it more, but basically it's just breakfast steak. but whatever. i'm craving it right now...
beef tapa + sunny side up egg + garlic rice with margarine = drool.
that's what's going on in my head right now. goodbye. :)
i think i'm craving haagen dazs as well. belgian chocolate... mmmmmmmmmm... tasty.
i think i'm also craving for a whopper. with cheese. and a large sprite.
i don't think i'll last with so much food cravings in my head. O.o
before i begin, i would like to thank raf and jess, my only commenters for my previous post. haha! i completely and totally agree with you both, and it is disgustingly sad. i just wish i had the money to help them all out...
okay. now on to the point of this whole post.
i've just finished reading twilight, and i must admit, it isn't a bad book. it's the typical romance crap (really cheesy romance crap, i have to admit) but for some reason, it keeps you wanting to read more. the way the author describes everything through the eyes of bella swan (the main character) is impeccably imaginative. it really made me imagine how the setting was like, how the people were like, and most especially, how edward cullern (bella's love interest) looked like. most people i know who've read this book find edward cullen really hot (i mean hello? the body of adonis, reddish-brown hair with a topaz set of eyes... blah blah blah), but personally, i think these people need to get a reality check, so i don't think i really like him in that way. he is, though, a very good character, having charactersitics many girls would swoon over. okay, not the point. but it really is a great book, the twist in the plot-wise. i just find bella's super-duper detailed description quite annoyingly dragging though.
so is it a must-read?
i think it's a 3/5. for me at least, who isn't very interested in lovey-dovey shiznit. but if you guys want to read a vampire love story that could keep you reading on, then this is the bok for you. it's for entertainment, not really for cerebral exertion (books like these include the series of unfortunate events, the kite runner, catcher in the rye, the little prince, etc.)
that's all for now. i have to eat my juicy hamburger.
signing off,
inna
okay, so i had a community service project yesterday. would you belive that this can be found in the same town where my school is in?

this place is called Riverside, because DUH-- it's beside a river--a nasty looking one at that, as you can see. this is a squatter's area found behind a car dealership building. But, i feel that this is the real paradise. seeing the people there, oh gosh. they live in sad conditions but they're happy with it. what more, people loike us? those with computers and such, and we're never really content with what we have? oh the irony of it all.
yes, people. this is a fact--there is injustice in society. but what exactly are we doing to help?
teaching catechism and giving monetary supposrt isn't enough.
well, that's what i think.
what's in your thoughts?
